INCA Niederanven is currently looking for an IT System Administrator to join the IT department.

INCA Ingénieurs Conseils Associés is a leading engineering firm with more than 130 multilingual and multidisciplinary employees, based in various locations in Luxembourg. INCA offers its services in various fields such as superstructures, civil engineering structures, road and rail infrastructures, delegated project management, quantity surveying, building physics (thermal, acoustic and fire safety), health and safety coordination, environment, water management, construction management, and scenography.

 

IT System Administrator

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the network administration, server infrastructure and IT security systems. Your objective will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our technology infrastructure.

You will work with several different technologies and internal departments in a variety of environments. As a systems administrator you will manage and upgrade our IT infrastructure.

Your responsibilities:

• Maintain, install, configure and monitor the IT infrastructure
• Manage servers, network and technology tools
• Monitor performance and manage systems
• Resolve problems and breakdowns
• Ensure security through access controls, backup plans, firewalls and anti-virus solutions
• Keep systems up to date
• Assist the head of department in technological evolution and implementation of IT projects.
• Assist IT support

Your profile:

• You have a degree in Computer Science and/or a proven track record as System Administrator in Microsoft environment.
• You have an interest in and knowledge of
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure services
  • SharePoint
  • Virtualization software (VMware and storage)
  • Security (firewall, antivirus, security policy)
  • Data backup systems including archiving and restore
• Create and maintain PowerShell and VB.NET scripts.
• You have a passion for technology, are open-minded and a team player.
• You have strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills. You are proactive and like innovative solutions.
• Ideally you speak English and one of the languages spoken in Luxembourg (French, German, Luxemburgish).
• Flexibility regarding working time is required from time to time for maintenance purposes that can occur outside of standard working time.
